This somewhat rare antique motorcycle saddle was introduced
by Persons in 1923.Cleveland started using it in 1923; Ace in 1924; Henderson
in 1926. It was last used on the 1929 Henderson DeLuxe Motorcycle. The two vent
holes in the center of the pan were 5/8" diameter. Thin hair padding was
used. A decal (as shown above) was added to the rear pan of most of the King
Comfort saddles. I have had a new batch of reproductions of this decal made
as vinyl press on decals since it is hard to find someone who makes the old
lacquer type decals. There is an additional cost of $25.00 if you want this
decal added to your saddle.This new decal looks great, the only criticism being
that it looks a little better than the original.
